To tell you about Ravenwing, I must first take you back to the beginning of Time.
The original location, Far and Away, Time has long since ceased to exist but the friendships and memories have endured. What a time we had! This small land was the predecessor to this place we have grown to love and was the creation of my dear friend Kristopher Tungsten
Back in late 2008 and being quite new to this second life, I was renting a small piece of land in a far off province and as fate would have it, late one night while busy exploring my creativity, I became aware of another Avatar nearby adding flowers and trees on a small plot of land, being inquisitive I ventured over.
There I met Zita, a lovely young woman from the Nederland’s, who told me all about the Park land and how it had been given to her for landscaping by this wonderful man. I was to say the least, somewhat sceptical as most of the men I'd met in SL usually had other motives, but Zita persisted and eventually took me to meet this knight in shining armour.
Well the rest is history as they say and this elusive man really is the gentleman that Zita had described. Since this chance meeting I have spent countless hours enjoying the company of many others in this small group and shared marvellous times with dear friends.
Now a wonderful place and home for the past year has also departed, we will all miss Far and Away, Ravenwing and the memories it holds. Thank you Kris for sharing your world and friendship with us, and in the future we may again come together in Time.
